To strengthen collaboration and ensure the enforcement of security measures in Lagos State, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, Deputy Superintendent of Corps, Abolurin Oluwaseun, held a productive meeting with the Chairman of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences Unit (Task Force), Chief Superintendent of Police, Shola Jejeloye.

The meeting took place at Chief Superintendent Jejeloye’s office in Oshodi, Lagos, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Deputy Superintendent Abolurin was accompanied by Assistant Superintendent of Corps 1, Irionye Olufemi from the Public Relations Unit of the Command.

In a related development, Assistant Commandant – General Chukwudi Esiegwu, responsible for the Private Guard Companies’ Department at the NSCDC National Headquarters in Abuja, continued his series of visits to private security firms. The visits aim to promote global best practices in regulating the private security industry in Nigeria, aligning with the directives of CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi PhD., mni, dfisn, OFR, the Commandant General of NSCDC.
Assistant Commandant – General Chukwudi Esiegwu emphasized the importance of professionalism and strict adherence to statutory rules and regulations during his visit to Safety Signatures Limited on the same day. Dr. Cynthia Gregg, the Managing Director of Safety Signatures Limited, received commendation for the company’s professionalism and compliance with industry standards.NSCDC
Deputy Commandant of Corps, Oyegbula Eze, the Head of Unit, PGC, Lagos State Command, also accompanied Assistant Commandant – General Chukwudi Esiegwu during the inspection visit to Safety Signatures Limited. The NSCDC’s efforts to strengthen security and ensure professionalism in both public and private security sectors in Lagos State continue to demonstrate their commitment to the safety and well-being of the community.
