Investigations confirmed that all four suspects belong to a criminal network that specializes in recruiting and transporting young women from Nigeria to Ghana for prostitution. The operation also resulted in the rescue of ten additional victims, aged between 21 and 29, bringing the total number of rescued persons to eleven. All victims are now in protective care and will soon be reunited with their families.

In a separate operation based on credible intelligence, a team of Special Tactical Operatives arrested Omotayo Iwajomo, a notorious armed robbery suspect, at his Ikorodu hideout. Items recovered included one AK-49 rifle with Breech No. N704983, three magazines, seventeen rounds of 47.62mm live ammunition, and three rounds of 9.19mm live ammunition. Iwajomo, who confessed to being the leader of a gang responsible for multiple violent crimes across Lagos, is currently assisting police investigations.
