Ogun State has been thrown into mourning following the passing of His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeleke Adelekan Idowu- Basibo Odoru V, the Alaperu of Iperu, whose 22-year reign was marked by remarkable contributions to peace, cultural preservation, and economic growth in Iperu and beyond.

Among the prominent voices paying tribute is Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel, the lawmaker representing Ogun East Senatorial District, who expressed deep sorrow over the revered Alaperu of Iperu’s passing.
