The Nigerian Police Force has arrested the Olu Of Kemta, Oba Adetokunbo Tejuoso in Odeda Local Government Council, Ogun state for alleged forgery.
The Olu of Kemta who is a member of Egba traditional Council who was recommended by the last administration and upgraded from Baale to a Coronet king during Senator Ibikunle Amosun’s regime was allegedly arrested after a lady petitioned the Nigeria Police Force.
Fasnews gathered that the Olu of Kemta allegedly specialises in defrauding his unsuspecting victims who are mostly wealthy ladies via social media with a promise of marriage as the said king usually claim to be a bachelor.
One of his victim’s (name withheld) claimed the king was fond of taking photographs with influential people to promote his fraudulent ambitions. “He is always on the look out for wealthy ladies through their social media profiles and photographs to determine his approach,” the victim claimed.
An inside source from the Ogun State Command hinted that several petitions had been submitted to the Ogun state traditional institution by some of his victims but the institution refused to wade into the matter.
Confirming the arrest of king Adetokinbo Tejuoso, the Ogun state police command image maker, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi told FASNEWS that his arrest was effected by the Force CID, Abuja and not the state command.
