APC Chieftain and former Governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has described former President Olusegun Obasanjo as one of the pillars that have held the democratic institution of Nigeria together.
In a goodwill message from his media office on Saturday, Daniel stated that Nigeria remains in great debt to the contributions made by Chief Obasanjo in ensuring the progress of the country, sustained unity and democracy.
“I join millions of friends and family worldwide to celebrate a pillar of democracy and an outstanding statesman who has continued to provide the much-needed guidance for our country.
“Chief Obasanjo represents all the ideals of patriotism, and this is evident in his undying love for the progress and development of Nigeria.
