NOPRIN Condemns Killing Of Police Officer By Soldier, Calls For Urgent Reforms

The Network on Police Reform in Nigeria (NOPRIN Foundation) has strongly condemned the tragic and allegedly unwarranted killing of the Divisional Police Officer of Wusagu Division, SP Halliru, by a military officer at a military checkpoint in Zamfara State.

The incident, which took place on August 28, 2024, has sparked outrage and highlighted a concerning escalation of violence between security agencies, prompting calls for urgent reforms in inter-agency relations.
