The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has declared four associates of notorious Lagos drug kingpin, Suleiman Aremu Ganiu a.k.a Barryshine, wanted for their involvement in multiple drug trafficking operations.

The suspects, identified as Olarenwaju Ramon Abdulai (Alhaji Loyingbo), Oluwafemi Akande Abidoye (Igbono, Baba Eje, Ade Iwaya, Femi Iwaya), Olumuyiwa Olufemi Ilori (Murphy), and Alate Kafy Bakare Bukki of Kaffy Travels, are now on the run.
The decision follows an order by Justice Akintayo Aluko of the Federal High Court, Lagos, granting NDLEA permission to issue a public notice declaring them wanted. The ruling, dated January 28, 2025, mandates the conspicuous display of their photographs to aid in their apprehension.NDLEA
The leader of the syndicate, Suleiman Aremu Ganiu, was arrested on August 26, 2024, after being on NDLEA’s radar for two years. As the Managing Director of Barryshine Suleiman Nigeria Ltd, he was linked to four failed attempts to smuggle cocaine to Saudi Arabia and Qatar via Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, between 2022 and 2024.
Many of his drug mules have already been arrested, prosecuted, and convicted, while Barryshine himself is currently facing multiple criminal charges in Federal High Court, Lagos. However, the NDLEA is now focusing on dismantling his entire drug network, which includes the four newly declared fugitives.NDLEA
The agency has called on the general public to provide any information on the whereabouts of the wanted suspects. Citizens can report anonymously to the nearest NDLEA office, call the toll-free helpline (080010203040), or send direct messages via social media.
