The leadership of NANS JCC Lagos ably lead by Comrade Ogunsanya Rasheed has distance the association from the June 12 protest.

In a statement made available to Fasnews, NANS said it believed in dialogue and not war.NANS

“We wish to state categorically that as an association we believe in dialogue not war, this prompted us to organize the Lagos Students Security Summit where we discuss wayforward on the security issues in the country and a white paper have since been forwarded to the Governor for implementation.

“We use this medium to also appeal to our students across the state to stay away from any form of protest that will cause damage to the state and the country by extension,” the statement read.
