The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) has urged both Nigerians and the government to rally behind the Dangote Refinery to ensure its optimal performance and inspire further investments in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector.Dangote

Speaking after a tour of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Petrochemical Complex, and Fertilizer Plant, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria President Otunba Francis Meshioye described the facility as a groundbreaking achievement. He called it a source of pride for Nigeria, Africa, and the world, highlighting its potential to bolster energy security, create jobs, and drive economic growth.Dangote

Meshioye emphasized that the government must prioritize support for Dangote refinery, which can process 650,000 barrels of crude oil daily—meeting local demands and generating foreign exchange through exports. “It is prudent and expedient that all necessary support is given to this facility for the economic benefits of Nigeria,” he stated.

He further noted the Dangote refinery’s advanced laboratory and infrastructure, capable of delivering up to 1,800 trucks of products daily, as an example of its transformative impact on multiple sectors of the economy.Dangote
