Yesiru Salisu of no, 7 Odenusi street Ijebu Igbo was on Monday, November 23, 2020 arrested by operatives of Ogun state police command for being in possession of four human body parts; two dry human hands and three jaws.

The suspect who claimed to be 55 years old was arrested following a report lodged at Ago Iwoye division, Ogun state that a man was seen with a bag suspected to contain a stolen property and when he was challenged, he dropped the bag and ran into the bush.

With a lead on the report, Ogun state Ago Iwoye DPO, CSP Paul Omiwole led his detectives to the scene where they found and opened the bag which contain dry human parts.

Consequently, the bush the suspect ran into was properly combed and he was eventually apprehended after a thorough search.

When the suspect was being interrogated, he confessed to the fact that he went with one Lekan Bakare who is now at large, to harvested the human parts from a Christian cemetery in the Oke Eri Ijebu Ode area of Ogun state.

In the meantime, the commissioner of police, CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the state criminal investigation and intelligence department (SCIID) for further investigation and the arrest of the fleeing suspect for proper prosecution
