The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has announced the postponement of its highly anticipated 18th Annual Town Hall Meeting on Security with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Originally scheduled for Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the Civic Centre in Lagos, the event will now take place on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the Lagos House in Ikeja. Attendance remains strictly by invitation.
In an official statement shared with Fasnewsng.com, the LSSTF expressed regret over any inconvenience the postponement may cause to government officials, corporate organizations, and other invited participants.

A Pivotal Forum for Security Advancement
The LSSTF Annual Town Hall Meeting, now in its 18th year, has become a cornerstone event for shaping security strategies in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial hub. It provides a vital platform for dialogue and collaboration between government agencies, private sector stakeholders, and the public to address evolving security challenges and strengthen measures to ensure public safety.
As Lagos continues to experience rapid urbanization and economic growth, the forum remains a critical tool for fostering innovative approaches to security. The LSSTF’s role in mobilizing resources and coordinating efforts has been instrumental in enhancing the state’s security infrastructure.
This year’s meeting is expected to be particularly engaging, featuring discussions on the future of security in Lagos and the role of public-private partnerships in maintaining peace and order.
