In a powerful demonstration of its dual commitment to sustainability and youth empowerment, leading electro-mechanical solutions provider JMG Limited has commissioned a 129kWp hybrid solar system at its Lagos Head Office, while also doubling down on its investment in Nigeria’s young talent.

The groundbreaking solar project, engineered entirely by JMG’s SOLAR Division, features Longi 575W solar panels, Deye hybrid inverters, and 122.9kWh of Deye high-voltage lithium-ion battery storage. Together, these components will deliver over 15.48MWh of clean energy per month, covering up to 90% of the building’s energy needs, while slashing CO₂ emissions by 71 tons annually.

“We’re not just promoting clean energy. We’re running on it,” said Hussein Abbas, Head of JMG’s Solar Division. “Our Head Office now leads by example, proving that smart, scalable solar solutions are ready for today’s commercial challenges.”JMGBeyond its green credentials, the system will save over 34,800 liters of diesel per year, equivalent to nearly ₦40 million in annual operating costs, while showcasing JMG’s leadership in sustainable corporate infrastructure. The installation features smart energy monitoring and a space-efficient dual-mounting system spread across the rooftop and carport.

Coinciding with World Youth Skills Day. JMG also used the occasion to reaffirm its commitment to developing Nigeria’s youth through practical skills and technical empowerment.
