In a major technological advancement for Nigeria’s data infrastructure, JMG Limited, in partnership with Lambert Electromec, has successfully upgraded part of the cooling system at Rack Centre, the largest data center in Nigeria and West Africa.

The milestone project features a Trane Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system, designed to enhance energy efficiency and ensure continuous operation in one of the region’s most critical facilities.

The project involved the installation of the Trane R-32 7G VRF system, a state-of-the-art solution that delivers outstanding energy efficiency, a smaller equipment footprint, and a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP). Built with redundancy to guarantee uninterrupted performance, the system meets Rack Centre’s demanding operational and reliability standards, while maintaining cost-effectiveness.JMG

As the official authorized dealer of Trane in Nigeria, JMG brings world-class HVAC technology to the country. Trane, which has been recognized for 11 consecutive years as America’s Most Trusted® Residential HVAC Brand by Lifestory Research, is globally renowned for innovation, reliability, and sustainability in climate control solutions.

Speaking on the successful execution of the project, Saeed Sahloul, QA/QC Manager at Lambert Electromec, commended JMG’s professionalism during the pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.“Throughout this phase, we encountered no issues, which speaks volumes about their professionalism and dedication,” he said. “Their documentation was thorough, and I am very satisfied with the work JMG delivered.”

Also affirming the project’s success, Khaled El Mouslemani, Manager-Operations at LEM Maintenance, a Lambert Electromec company, highlighted the reliability of JMG’s after-sales support. “Their commitment to timely response and technical guidance has been critical in ensuring uninterrupted cooling for Rack Centre,” he stated. “This has allowed us to maintain optimal system efficiency and minimize downtime.”JMG

With this milestone, JMG and Lambert Electromec continue to strengthen Nigeria’s data infrastructure and environmental sustainability drive by deploying high-efficiency, low-emission cooling systems that support mission-critical operations.

Customers across Nigeria can also benefit from the same level of expertise and reliability through JMG’s Trane Cooling Solutions, available nationwide.
