Nollywood female actor, Jane Thomas Rogers, who is also a humanitarian and human rights activist has bagged the Aid People Change Nigeria Charity and Orphanage Organization (APCN) humanitarian award as Actress of the Year 2020 alongside Wizkid, Femi Otedola, 2baba, PSquare, Zlatan, Victor Uwaifo, Don Jazzy, Winning Jah, Sinach and Buchi who are all a-list celebrities and notable business magnates in the country.
Jane became the winner of the category of the APCN prestigious award — Best Film Actor/Actress of the Year after an online voting process.
Aid People Change Nigeria Charity and Orphanage Organization (APCN) Humanitarian Awards also is an annual international humanitarian award ceremony, launched in Nigeria and Ireland in 2008 by Aid People Change Nigeria Charity and Orphanage Organization. The award is given as honor to country, community and state leaders, actors, musicians, politicians, students and newspaper organizations who had contributed immensely to eradicate global poverty.
APCN Humanitarian 2020 Awards, the 12th Edition was hosted online by Brand Ambassador of Hope and Peace, Evi Edna Ogholi, the Africa’s Queen of Reggae and “Happy Birthday” crooner.
The nomination process was concluded successfully without fear or favor of the nominees. Over 450,000 votes in total were received from various categories while other personalities bagged honorary APCN Humanitarian Awards. The judgement was passed by a group of NGO collation, lawyers, book writers, entertainment moguls, music professionals and the general public.
