The Imo state Commissioner of Police, CP Nasiru Mohammed yesterday, March 10, 2021 visited Ihite Uboma Dovisional Police headquarters for an on the spot assessment of the burnt station and to find out what actually transpired that led to such unfortunate incident.
The CP who was in company of other senior police officers of the Imo state Command, decry the rate at which Police stations are being attacked at the slightest provocation.
He also used the opportunity to call on the Community leaders and other stakeholders to sensitize their youths in order to guide against such unfortunate incidents in future.
CP Mohammed further asked members of the public to remain calm as the command will do everything possible to ensure that justice is done in the matter.
The CP vowed to do everything possible to ensure that Policing activities continues in the area , as the command will not leave any part of the state Command to hoodlums.
In Response, the head of the traditional rulers in Ihitte Uboma local government, HRH Eze Uwalaka, thanked the CP for the visit and promised to set mercenaries in place to ensure that such never occurs in the area.
