Ecobank Nigeria To Host Inaugural Design, Build Expo

Ecobank Nigeria is gearing up to host its inaugural Design & Build Expo, a groundbreaking event that will showcase the latest trends, innovations, and sustainable practices in architecture, construction, and interior design.

Slated for November 27 to December 1, 2024, at the Ecobank Pan African Centre (EPAC) in Victoria Island, Lagos, the five-day exhibition, themed “Building Nigeria Together,” will bring together industry professionals and entrepreneurs, starting daily at 10:00 am.

The expo, which has attracted nearly 60 exhibitors, will feature a diverse range of sectors, including real estate, building materials, interior design, construction tools, and household appliances. Speaking at the announcement, Omoboye Odu, Head of SMEs, Partnerships, and Collaborations at Ecobank Nigeria, emphasized the bank’s commitment to driving Nigeria’s economic development.

“As a Pan-African bank, this expo aligns with our mission to contribute to the economic growth of the countries we operate in. It’s a unique opportunity for industry players to showcase their products, network, and promote the adoption of sustainable practices,” she remarked.

Key highlights of the expo will include workshops, live demonstrations, and interactive sessions, offering exhibitors and attendees valuable market insights and networking opportunities. Ecobank Nigeria also plans to feature discussions on the use of renewable materials and energy-efficient technologies, reflecting its commitment to promoting sustainability in the building and design sectors.

The Design & Build Expo follows other successful initiatives by the bank, such as the Adire Lagos Experience and Ecobank National Schools Team Chess Championship, aimed at supporting SMEs and enhancing economic growth.
