The Delta State Commissioner of Police,  CP Ari Muhammed Ali has assured residents of the state that the Command, under his watch, remains committed to the protection of lives and properties especially during this ember months.

CP Ali in a statement made available to FASNEWS sent a strong message to Area Commanders, DPOs and Tactical Commanders on the need to sustain the temple in the fight against crimes and criminality.
Not relenting in the fight against crimes and criminality, Delta Police is ensuring that the state remain unbearably  hot for criminal minded elements by taking the battle to their door steps by  apprehending a 38-years-old suspect who has been terrorizing Sapele and its environs.Delta
The suspect, Morrison Godwin who has been on Delta state security watch list was sighted around Sapele on November 10,2021 and the DPO Sapele division immediately detailed a surveillance patrol team who swung into action,  stormed his house at Ojolu area and arrested the suspect.
Items recovered in his house is one locally made pistol and seven live cartridges.
In another development on same Wednesday 10, Delta Command Eagle-Net Special Squad around 10:00am received a  complaint  from one woman (name withheld)  of  Okpanam road Asaba against one Mr. Jude Nduka of No. 10, Obi Onuwe Street behind Kowen Plaza Asaba, Delta State.
The Complainant alleged that the 35-years-old suspect defiled and impregnated  her 16-years-old daughter (name withheld) and also defiled her 13-years-old teenage daughter.
Upon this complaint, detectives  swung into action and the suspect was arrested.  During interrogation the suspect confessed to have committed the crimes. Medical examination on the said victims have been carried out and  suspect is currently in custody and will be charged to court on completion of investigation.
 On Tuesday,November 9, around 12:30pm,  Operatives attached to  Agbarho Police station in a combined effort with Agbarho vigilante task Force arrested 25-years-old Solomon Adama at Oguname street Agbarho, Delta State for being in possession of one locally made pistol and one live cartridge. The suspect also confessed to being a member of Eiye confraternity.
On further interrogation, the suspect further stated that the leader of the confraternity, one Gregory  Orhokpocha gave him the gun. Gregory was swiftly  arrested.  Both suspects have been transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.
 Meanwhile, the Divisional Police Officer Oghara division acting on a tip off on Monday,November 8,2021 detailed a combined team of police/vigilante to Otefe road at ijomi community where they intercepted a Toyota Corolla car with Reg. No. BEN 741 NK suspected to be snatched with the two male and a female occupant. One of the male suspects escaped while the patrol team arrested the other suspect and recovered the car. Delta
The suspect gave his name as Lucky Enakpowo of Ofuoma Ughelli, he confessed that himself and one Elvis Emmanuel  snatched the car from a driver at Uselu in Benin City. The female occupant name (withheld) who hails from Plateau State a passenger in the car said she was assaulted, injured by the suspects  and that they also attempted to rape her.
Delta Police Command Image Maker, DSP Edafe Bright said Investigation is ongoing on all the arrested suspect at the Delta State Criminal Investigation Department.
