The Delta State Police Command has intensified its onslaught against criminals, arresting no fewer than 80 suspects and recovering a significant cache of arms, ammunition, stolen vehicles, and illicit drugs in the month of August 2025.

Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Abaniwonda S. Olufemi psc, disclosed this during a press briefing held on Wednesday in Asaba, where he highlighted the command’s achievements and reiterated his resolve to make the state uninhabitable for criminals.

Notably, the event also marked the first official assignment of DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, recently redeployed to the command after serving as the Police Force Public Relations Officer. Adejobi, who stood beside CP Abaniwonda at the briefing, expressed strong support for the command’s operations and pledged his commitment to strengthening security strategies in Delta State.
