Delta State Police Command has once again reiterated its promise that there shall be no breathing space for crimes and criminalities in the state by arresting one Akpoyerinebele who was intercepted by the Dragon Patrol Team on Friday, 7th January,2022.

The 33-yrears-old suspect was driving a Toyota Venza with Reg. no. FKJ 420 GT, chassis number 4t3bk3bb0bu056957 and  Engine number 6668351 Grey in colour ,when he was intercepted in company of another occupant(who immediately took to his heels and ran into the bush) along Warri /Sapele Road.
According to Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Edafe Bright,  upon searching of the vehicle, a phone number was found which was used to get intouch with the owner of the vehicle who confirmed that the vehicle was snatched at NDC road Ozoro at gun point by five a (5) man robbery gang at about 1:00am of same date.
The arrested suspect is already Cooporating with the police to apprehend other members of his gang.Police
In another police operation on Wednesday, 5th of January, 2022 around 3:30pm, the Command Crack Squad while acting on intelligence gathered, raided a suspected criminal hideout along Jakpa Road, Warri and in the process arrested two suspects; 20-years-old Felix Aroh and 43-years-old Erumu Ogodo.
 Exhibits recovered from them are three (3) containers of Loud, eight (8) wraps of Kolorado hard drugs, four (4) packets of rolling paper, one hundred and forty three (143) wraps of substance suspected to be  Indian hemp and some  sachets of tramadol.
The police team also raided another criminal hideout in Agbor metropolis and arrested 25-years-old Musa Abdullahi and 53-years-old Gift Ahemte. Eight (8) kg of Indian hemp, valium 5 and swinol drugs were recoveredfrom them.
Similarly, on january 7, 2021, the Crack surveillance team raided a criminal hideout in Issele-Asagba  where one 32-years-old Blessing Nwabuokei was arrested and 12kg of weed suspected to be Indian hemp and some quantity of cocaine were recovered from her.
Also Acting on intelligence gathered over a period of time, operatives from Area Command Warri  raided Ugborikoko community. During the raid,  one Randy Omovie was arrested and one G3 rifle with breach No. 69021340 and battle axe were recovered from him. One Sunny Blessing, a suspected drug dealer was also arrested and substance suspected to be Indian hemp soaked in gin, fourteen (14) wraps of substance suspected to be cocaine, eight (8) bottles of codeine, ten (10)  cups of loud were recovered from him.Police
Investigation is ongoing on the arrested suspects while the Commissioner of Police Delta State,  CP Ari Muhammed Ali has  commended officers and men of the Command for their efforts in fighting crime.
The police boss also admonished the officers to sustain the tempo in the fight against crime and criminality and ensure that they continue raiding criminal hideouts/black spot with a view to ensuring that the battle is taken to the door steps of criminal elements so that crime can be nipped in the bud.
The CP also encouraged members of the public to continue to support and partner with the Police by helping with useful and timely information as it relates to security in the State.
