Among the newly inducted platforms were offshore patrol vessels, multi-role combat helicopters, and enhanced surveillance technologies, all tailored to counter piracy, crude oil theft, and illegal maritime activities. These assets are expected to significantly boost the Navy’s presence and deterrence capabilities along Nigeria’s coastal corridor.
