In his opening remarks, Baale Engr. O. A. Lawal condemned the destruction of DATKEM by the Dapo administration, describing it as a setback to socio-economic development. He highlighted the far-reaching contributions of Otunba Gbenga Daniel to Ogun East and Ogun State at large, stressing that his antecedents as a former governor and current senator justified the need for renewed and sustained support.
Otunba Ronke Kolade, popularly known as Rontex, called for an aggressive extension of mobilisation efforts to market women across all communities. She openly declared her unalloyed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Gbenga Daniel, noting that women at the grassroots remain a critical force in any successful political movement.
