The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Women’s Parliament has extended warm congratulations to HHonourable Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji on her resounding victory in the recent bye-election for Remo Federal Constituency.
In a statement signed by its National Coordinator, JC Yinka Kondu, the group described Elegbeji’s triumph as a defining moment for women in Nigerian politics, affirming that it further dismantles stereotypes that limit women to the background.
“We are very delighted to know that you have won the elections for our party, for women across Nigeria, and for the people of Remo Federal Constituency who believe in your competence and capacity to fully represent them,” the statement read.
The APC Women’s Parliament emphasized that her large-margin victory demonstrates both her personal popularity and the strength of the party among the electorate.
