Access Holdings Plc, the parent company of The Access Bank UK Limited, has achieved a significant milestone with the establishment of its first fully-owned subsidiary in Malta, The Access Bank Malta Limited.

The banking license, granted by the European Central Bank (ECB) and the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), solidifies Access Holdings’ position as a key player in enhancing trade connectivity between Europe and Africa.
The Access Bank Malta Limited positions Malta, a renowned international financial hub and strategic link between Europe and Africa, as a cornerstone for bolstering economic ties across the continents. The subsidiary will focus on international trade finance, initially employing 30 professionals, with plans for measured growth to meet the increasing demand for cross-border financial solutions.
