The Gateway Stadium was alive with color and culture on December 27, 2024, as Remoland came together for the inaugural Remo Day Grand Rally.

Hosted by the Akarigbo of Remoland, the event celebrated unity, culture, and progress, drawing top dignitaries such as the Chief of Staff to the President of Nigeria, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR); and the state’s First Lady.Remo
Among the luminaries was Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, Chairman of Adron Group and Otun Akile of Remoland, whose commanding presence earned him the title of “Remo Day Man of Steeze.”

Aare Adetola Emmanuelking made a striking entrance, resplendent in a wine agbada with intricate embroidery, traditional coral beads, and a regal fila. His effortless blend of cultural sophistication and modern flair captivated attendees, further cementing his status as a cultural ambassador for the land. His charisma and unwavering dedication to the community’s growth were evident as he engaged with dignitaries and attendees alike.

The event was attended by representatives from across communities, including Epe, Makun, Iperu, Ilishan, and many more. They gathered to honor the Akarigbo of Remoland and celebrate the region’s rich heritage. Aare Adetola’s Iyaniwura Base group, under his dynamic leadership, added vibrancy to the occasion with their coordinated cultural attire, leaving a lasting impression on all present.

Themed “In Unity & Culture, We Thrive,” the celebration featured traditional dances, drumming, and artwork, showcasing the vibrancy of heritage.
